Matson has advised us that their vessels are encountering extraordinarily large seas due to a series of storms over the Pacific Ocean. Several vessels are not able to arrive on schedule as a result.
Cargo on the last two LGB vessels will be available a day late. The January 3 departure of the Mokihana from LGB is not expected to arrive until Friday morning January 8. The January 6 departure of the RJ Pfeiffer from LGB will arrive on Monday January 11. This will result in deliveries that are delayed one day beyond the normally expected date.
The seas are still rough and now cargo might be backed up on the Honolulu dock. We expect that cargo on this upcoming Saturday sailing from Long Beach may have some delays as a result.
