Matson Lines and Horizon Lines both announced rate increases recently on their Hawaii service. Matson Navigation Company, Aloha Freight Forwarder’s primary steamship line partner, announced on November 25, 2014 that they will raise their rates by an average of 5.4% effective January 04, 2015. Aloha Freight Forwarders will pass this steamship line increase through to our customers, although our increase is generally less than the steamship line percentage.
