Please be advised that Matson has just announced that they will be moving the Saturday morning 07/1/17 sailing of the Mokihana 349W forward with an earlier departure of late evening Friday 06/30/17. This decision was made to provide certainty for their customers, as the labor contracts with unions representing unlicensed crew on their ships expires June 30 at midnight Pacific time. Matson remains cautiously optimistic about reaching a timely, fair, and equitable agreement as in the past. They are not taking any chances however and will sail early before it could expire.
To that end, Aloha Freight will have an early cutoff for this sailing. Please ensure pickups are scheduled by noon on Friday 06/30/17 and cargo must be in our Aloha Freight Compton, CA terminal by 2:00 pm on Friday 06/30/17.
