The storm has reduced in intensity overnight. The Maui and Kona ports had been closed but have now reopened. Rain is still expected to be heavy at times, but not nearly as bad as what was forecasted previously. Our service should be minimally affected.

Matson has announced a decrease in the fuel surcharge effective this Sunday, 7/7/13. The surcharge will decrease 2.0% points to 34.5% for its Hawaii Service. We will implement the savings on all shipments that we receive after 7/7/13.
